3rd Annual Briaerean Co-op
Honor Society Banquet

The Georgia Tech Briaerean Co-op Honor Society hosted the third annual honors banquet at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, April 5, 2007. The Briaerean Co-op Honor Society, founded in 1922, is unique to Georgia Tech, and recognizes the school's co-op students who posses exemplary scholastic records. It's the oldest student honorary organization on campus, and has initiated thousands of members since its inception. Membership is comprised of juniors and seniors with cumulative GPA's of 3.0 or higher, and who have worked in co-op positions for two or more semesters.

The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephen E. Cross, Vice President, Georgia Tech, and Director, Georgia Tech Research Institute. This year's event was the first one in which the Georgia Tech Division of Professional Practice (DoPP) Undergraduate Professional Internship (UPI) and Graduate Cooperative Education Programs also participated.
